With our Dutch roots and strong connection to the Netherlands, we are now looking for a commercially driven Business Development Manager, Netherlands to help further grow our presence in the Dutch market.

About the role

As Business Development Manager, Netherlands, you will strengthen relationships with travel agencies, agency networks, strategic partners, tour operators and cruise specialists. You will identify new commercial opportunities, drive cruise sales and support the growth of group, charter and incentive business.

You will also represent Holland America Line at trade shows, presentations, industry events and familiarization trips, while providing market and competitive insights to support our commercial strategy.

You will work closely with the EMEA Business Development and Marketing teams and report to the Director Sales EMEA.

Could this be your next opportunity? Here’s what we’re looking for:

• At least five years of commercial sales experience within the travel or cruise industry, with a proven track record of revenue growth;
• Strong strategic and analytical skills, with the ability to translate market developments and sales performance into commercial opportunities;
• Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills;
• A proactive, service-oriented mindset and a strong sense of partnership;
• The ability to work independently and take initiative, while enjoying collaboration within a dynamic international team;
• Willingness to travel and, when required, work during evenings and weekends.
